Miley Cyrus has made a peace offering to Sinead O'Connor.
It's wrapped in conceited snark, but hey. It's still a peace offering.
The unexpected beef between these artists started a couple days ago when O'Connor penned an open letter to Cyrus, castigating the music business, actually complimenting Miley's "obvious" talent and suggesting she keep her clothes on.
But Miley focused on the negative and lashed out big time at the Irish star.
She recounted O'Connor's history of mental illness via a series of Tweets the singer sent during a dark period and compared Sinead to Amanda Bynes.
Then, in response to that response, O'Connor wrote another letter to Cyrus (via Facebook) and essentially asked: WTF?!?
The 46-year old wondered who is advising Miley, saying it's "stupid and dangerous" to mock those who have sought professional help for their psychological issues.
So... what does Miley have to say for herself now?
"Sinead. I don't have time to write you an open letter cause Im hosting & performing on SNL this week," she Tweeted last night. "So if youd like to meet up and talk lemme know in your next letter. :)"
Obnoxious, cocky and still full of mockey? Sure. But at least an offer is on the table.
Should O'Connor accept it? Should she meet up with Miley and talk things out?
