Britney Spears "Work Bitch" Video: Banned in the UK!

Britney Spears says a lot of sex goes into being Britney Spears, and her racy new music video for "Work Bitch" is certainly reflective of that admission.

It's hot. And provocative. And now banned in the United Kingdom ... partially.

Work, Bitch Photo

According to British media reports, the Britney Spears "Work Bitch" music video can only be viewed after 10 p.m. (really) due to its risque content.

No daytime airings on music channels, including MTV, will be allowed. Ironic, since Brit's now-ubiquitous Brit accent plays a big part in the video.

Channels are reportedly calling for Spears to release a "clean" edit of the music video to broadcast before 10 p.m. that is suitable for all audiences.

According to a source, the word "bitch" cannot be said on TV before 10 p.m in the UK, and well, that's just the start of the issues with this effort.

In addition to saying "bitch" at least 20 times, maybe it's the itty-bitty outfits? The feverish gyrating of her body? The scene depicted in the GIF below?

Britney Spears Whips Dancer

Even Spears herself said during a phone-in interview with to The TJ Show Thursday that she was a bit uncomfortable and even edited out some scenes.

That's right, the UK should be thankful the video isn't even worse, and her comments sparked rumors that she was pushed to oversexualize the video.

The singer's father and manager denied forcing her to do anything.

"Britney is never pressured," Spears' father and manager, Jamie Spears and Larry Rudolph, said in a statement to E! News, while confirming her control.

"She reviews all creative and for her ‘Work Bitch' video, she discussed toning down some parts in finding a balance of sexy and being a mother."

Did she succeed? If you haven't seen the final product, ogle away:
