Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott: So Broke He Can't Get a Vasectomy

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, who have four kids together, tell People magazine that they are done building their family. Well ... most likely.

The reality television towsome is so hard up for cash these days, they cannot even afford a vasectomy for Dean, according to the new, TMI report.

McDermott’s vasectomy was just one of the expenses that got cut from the budget as the showbiz duo struggles to make ends meet for their large brood.

The daughter of the late TV mogul Aaron Spelling says times have been tough since their Oxygen show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood was canceled.

“We don’t have a series on the air right now, so we have to be more restrictive of what we can spend, just like anyone who doesn’t currently have a steady job,” she said.

Inheriting little from her dad left Tori Spelling broke or darn close. In 2011, Spelling and McDermott sold their lavish Encino home at a loss and got a modest rental.

The Beverly Hills 90210 star and mom to Liam, 6, Stella, 5, and Hattie, 2, developed a life-threatening health issue while pregnant with fourth child Finn, 14 months.

Tori Spelling was diagnosed with placenta previa, a condition where the placenta is too close to the cervix during pregnancy. Luckily, both mother and baby were fine.

The same can’t be said for the finances of Tori and Dean who hope their next reality show, HGTV’s Tori & Dean: Cabin Fever, debuting this spring, will be a hit.

Seriously, that's its real title. As is Spelling It Like It Is, a new memoir in which the star admits she must give up some of her more expensive tastes.

With four kids, that's going to be a lot of tastes to give up. But here's hoping they get back in the black ... at least so Dean can go get taken care of.
