Are co-stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev back together after breaking up earlier this year? It certainly seems like it, according to new reports!
While we've learned on The Vampire Diaries Season 5 that the universe is on Team Stefan, the actress is still on Team Damon ... on and off the set.
Ian and Nina, who broke up in May after three years of dating, are hooking up again, E! News reports. Specifically, they are "hot and heavy once again."
The future of the gorgeous couple "remains to be seen," but things are looking that way, say insiders close to both Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev.
Dobrev, 24, reportedly rebounded with Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough this past summer, but the duo split after only six weeks together.
The duo decided their brief union had "played itself out," a source said, and soon after, she rekindled things with Somerhalder, 34, on the TVD set.
Dobrev and Somerhalder joined fellow cast members for The Vampire Diaries' 100th episode celebration on Saturday, posing happily together.
Somerhalder's rep told E! that "they don't comment on their client's personal lives," but the two clearly remained close friends since the breakup.
"There's no bad blood between them," a source reported at the time of the couple's split. "There was no other person involved or any big fight."
Allegedly, the two decided to call it quits after realizing that Nina Dobrev wasn't quite ready to settle down, as much as her boyfriend wanted to.
The insider added of the split, "This wasn't something out of the blue."
Nor is their reconciliation, apparently. Fingers crossed that it sticks!
