It's a good week for Daniel Gillies.
The actor stars in The Originals, which premieres this Thursday night, and now he's the excited new father of a baby girl!
"it's a girl. the tiny new empress of my everything. she's immaculate. we're delirious," Gillies Tweeted this afternoon, announcing the news.
This is the first child for Gillies and wife Rachel Leigh Cook, who stars on TNT's Perception.
It's also the latest in a line of celebrities babies from this weekend: Heather Morris gave birth to a boy on Saturday (ironically named Elijah, but not after Gillies' character on The CW... we don't think) and Lisa D'Amato is also a brand new mother.
