Get ready for some truly beautiful Katy Perry news.
The pop superstar, whose hit single "Roar" continues to light up the charts, went on Twitter to announce that she is the latest CoverGirl spokesmodel.
"Today is my 1st day as a @CoverGirl!" she wrote.
The above image shows Katy Perry with just a touch of makeup - CoverGirl Clean Glow Blush in Roses and CoverGirl LipPerfection in Euphoria.
Perry has an eyelash line (seriously) and several fragrances, so this is not her first foray into the beauty business, but it is her biggest to date.
Her full campaign with debut in spring 2014, with the songbird joining the likes of fellow CoverGirls such as Pink, Ellen DeGeneres and SofĂa Vergara.
